Illamasqua..............
Just loving this brand at the moment. I'm just back from the IMATS London 2012 and got a nice haul of these products. The packaging is just gorgeous and the quality of the make-up is beautiful! The texture of their cream blushes is really silky and luxurious and the foundation is just flawless. I also bought some powder blush and some eyepencils..... they also have really nice nail polishes with some eye-popping colours. Just 10/10 with this brand! Would defo recommend :-)

I love working on face charts! They are a great way to express your work and also look very impressive in any make-up portfolio! I think this one is going to be my next piece of work..............

Am just delighted to be going to the IMATS 2012 in London this year!!!!!!!!!! Have just looked at the schedule and the line-up is just FAB! Gonna definitely head to the Terry Barber masterclass... he's the director of make-up artistry with MAC and is super talented. Great to see the old reliables will be there, MAC, Inglot, Make-Up-For Ever and another fave of mine Crown Brushes. Im also hoping to see the big YouTubers like gossmakeupartist and the cool glam sisters Pixiwoo.............. BRING IT ON :-)

What can I say about this stuff! Its really brill! I've only discovered it recently. I received a boxed Sanctuary set for Christmas and it came with a free sample. To be honest, I never would usually use oil on my face, because I have combination skin, but on use, this really is the business! My face has become quite dehydrated now it's winter and my night time moisturiser just wasn't doing the job sufficiently. Im using this product only a few nights now and the results are really visible. I use my normal night time serum first and then use the oil afterwards. My skin feels much more nourished and re-hydrated and much softer to the touch... also that 'tight' feeling on my skin in the morning is gone. Im having problems finding an outlet that sells this product, may have to order online.... big thumbs up for this one!!

Hi there everyone!

Just a quick one to rave on about my new discovery! Inglot make-up. I'm just blow away by the quality of this stuff and am stunned I didn't discover this brand sooner! I'm constantly on YouTube and was hearing this brand mentioned again and again. Then in one review by an american girl, she was showing her Inglot haul and had travelled miles to Inglot in Vegas to get the products.... I was thinking... ok, this shop is not far from me in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, gonna head over and give it a whirl! To say im gobsmacked is the understatement!!!!!!! The products are of brill quality, with gorgeous colours and sparkle and the colour pay-off from the eyeshadows are amazing.
I won't say any more, coz im goin to do a review and some swatches etc in the next few days, so stay tuned!!

Hi again guys
Sorry I havent posted in so long.... been really busy, but im back and will be posting more comments and tips of the trade and reviews.
Lots of people have asked me how to do eyeshadow for a hooded eye. A hooded eye is basically when the skin above the eyelid starts to droop and fall down and can partially or completely cover the eyelid.

Contouring the eye can mask the sagging skin and also create an illusion of more eye space and in turn re-open the eye to the wonders of fab eye make-up!
To begin prime the eye (I use MAC paint pots and love 'Painterly' Urban Decay Primer Potion is another great), then place your eyeshadow base in a flesh or cream coloured tone ( MAC Mylar is another favourite ) all over the eye. Now here comes the important part..... with your eye OPEN and lookin directly in your mirror..... place a brown mid tone on the outer flesh that is hooding over the eye and bring into the inner eye, the idea here is you are contouring the hooded flesh which will make it recede. Basically you are creating a false crease as normally the crease would begin lower down in the eye socket. So with a hooded eye, your crease is higher up in the eye area..... my second tip is to line the INSIDE of the eyelid with a gel black liner ( Inglot is my fave ) then line the bottom lash with the same liner..... by lining the inside of the eyelid, again you are creating an illusion of a more open eye. Don't go fully into the inner eye with the liner, as this closes down the eye and makes it appear smaller. Use a highlighter under the brow (Mylar again, or a MAC frost) be careful using satins and frosts if you are an older lady as they can crease and can age. My last tip is to use the same highligter on the inner tear duct..... this can look really fab, open out the eye... pop your eye colour and create that wonderful illusion of a big spacious eye!
Below is a link to my fave artist on YouTube.... gossmakeupartist.... hopefully this will make all of the above a lot more clearer when you can see the products at work!!!!
See you again guys!

Just saw this on Xpose!!! Fab..... Katy Perry new nail polish collection from OPI. Really funky colours available. But get this..... there's a fab black shatter effect colour. When any colour is applied first to the nail, a thin layer of the black shatter gives a real funky shattered look! Watch this space... Ive just ordered this and it will be added to my kit and ready to go in two weeks!!!! If you want this done just drop me an email msdazzlediva@gmail.com and I will put you on my waiting list!

This was the second time I was asked back to this hotel. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the event was held on the roof of the penthouse suite. The night was for existing and potential clients for the hotel and my job was to do a group make-up demonstration. This was followed by individual consultations and discussions on make-up routine. It was a great night with lots of bubbly and gorgeous food which went down a storm!!! I did a group talk and then did different looks on different people. The smoky look was very popular although a lot of the women requested a daytime working durable look. I showed the ladies the dewy natural look, then vamped it up fit for any girl heading out on the town. Day to day make-up products were discussed and I gave the group a lot of tips on exfoliators, cleanser, moisturisers and my favourite subject of all.... the importance of the correct brushes, which ones to use and where to buy them! Fake tan, false eyelashes and body glitter were also on the subject list and it was great to answer the queries and concerns with applying these products. The make-up industry is a minefield of promotional products and it can be easy to get caught up in buying a lot of unnecessary items which are thrown into the back of our make-up bags and never used!!! I had a lot of interest after the event and made some great contacts! Another great night!
